Who can combine SCIENCE & FAITH? Answer: The Script!

What a great way to be back in the blogging world! And what's with YUAN?! It's my first time to do an album review from one of my favorite bands.

Last September 2010, The Script has just released its sophomore album untitled SCIENCE & FAITH under RCA and Sony Music label. The album is composed of 10 all-original cuts. This album has reached the number 3 spot in the Billboard's Hot 100 Album Chart and has sold over 70,000 copies in UK alone.
The Irish band's sophomore album features the chart-topping songs, "For The First Time" and "Nothing", both composed by Danny O'Donoghue.

And speaking of the album, Since I'm a great The Script fan, I'm giving you my review about this, so far, for me the hottest thing in The Script's career.

Just what I said a while ago, it contains 10 original tracks. Here is the track list with my corresponding rating and comment about the song.

1. You Won't Feel a Thing (4:33) - (8.5/10) - The song actually fits for being the 1st in the list. Though the song lyrics suggests some promising thing on man's perspective for a girl, the upbeat tempo nailed it.
2. For The First Time (4:12) - (9.2/10) - The reason why I purchased the album is all because of this song. Well, It hit me with the so called "Last Song Syndrome" with its great lyrics, melody and great vocals.
3. Nothing (4:32) - (8.9/10) - It is the perfect song for the alcoholics. (Haha.) Just kidding. The song was about how a guy got hurt upon breaking-up with his girl who's not even talking about it. So, the guy thought drinking is his companion but it's absolutely not.
4. Science and Faith (4:20) - (8.8/10) -  Suggests the best title for the album. Well, two uncombineable things. But it is still the Love that binded these two things and became inseparable.
5. If You Ever Come Back (4:02) - (9.0/10) - The bluesy thing on this cut made me fell in love with the song. I just do hope this song will be the album's 3rd release.
6. Long Gone and Moved On (4:17) - (8.5/10) -  A perfect song to move on.
7. Dead Man Walking (3:54) - (9.2/10) - My favorite song in the album. "I hear the angels talking, talking talking..." Well, it's the song for the cold-blooded ladies. Haha.
8. This is Love (4:21) - (8.7/10) - Tells how Love can be described off. Different meanings of Love from different perspective.
9. Walk Away (3:36) - (8.5/10) - The song tells basically the story of a girl who committed in a wrong relationship with all her regrets. So, she now have no choice but to "Walk awayyyy..."
10. Exit Wounds (4:25) - (8.9/10) - What an awesome way to end listening the whole album! Great vocals, great arrangements! A total BLAST!

My ratings for the whole album?! I'm giving it an 8.9/10. Just what I said earlier, It's the hottest stuff in The Script's career. I must say, it's a total innovation, evolution and awesome creativity. Kudos The Script!
