Congrats New Nurses! Congrats Friends!

Just recently, PRC has released the new successful examiners for Nursing Board Exam. And I, myself also had to wait for the results, not because I'm an examiner but because of my friends- my high school friends are the examiner, actually.

So proud of these guys who made it to the Local-RN Exams. But what keeps me mind-boggled as of the moment is their plans and what's install for them after having it the cut. Particularly at this point of time where we have a great surplus of Nurses in our country. Lots of 'em that some actually have to be social workers overseas.

It kinda upset me as these guys who devoted much of their times studying to pass the Board Exams, now thinking how they will practice their profession. And that's what I'm up to check, as their friend.

Nevertheless, I'm deeply PROUD that I'm a friend of these guys. Congratulations New Nurses!

Now, look how stupid our cops now. They even do a picture taking at the vicinity of the crime. This has just made another name for our country- on the negative side. Whereas, Hong Kong already warned their people not to visit the Philippines because of what happened the other day. This could probably brought a negative perception by HongKong nationals towards us Filipinos.

On the other side, Jackie Chan, a well- known Hong Kong superstar, already gave his sentiments about the sad news via his Official Twitter account.

How could Venus Raj promote the tourism if she won the Ms. Universe?

After being the talk of the town last night because of a cop who took a hostage drama of a tourist full Hong Kong bus, I guess the whole Filipino nation will be proud of their race as the controversial Venus Raj made it to the top 10 of the Miss Universe pageant. While writing this blog, I'm actually stay tuned and watching the pageant. Though I'm not a fan but with tis good news, It  made me proud as a Filipino.

This hostage drama has made a very humiliating perception towards us, Filipinos, but the good news is that another Filipino is making her way to the Ms. Universe.

Let's see, how will she do on the said competition. Ironic is that If she won the title, How could she answer the question, "How would you promote tourism in your country despite of what happened last night?" Let's see how.

Most of the fans got the same obsession on their idols, where they sometimes looked stupid that they even imitate how their idols act. I, for myself is a self-confessed imitator of my fave artists. Especially John Mayer and David Archuleta. For guys, It's okay to do stuffs you want to express your admiration to your fave artists. But what's weird is when you looked exactly the same as you're "Idol" when in case, you're on the opposite sex. Just like the picture above, which shows a girl holding a Taylor Lautner pillow. The funny thing is, she looked exactly the same as her Idol. I must say, she's the girl version of the Teen's Choice multiple winner, Taylor HOTner. Haha! :)

An Alarming case of YUAN

Honestly speaking, I hate it when people mispronounced my name or call me with other name. It just annoys me and give me some freaky and creepy reactions. Actually, I find it ugly when someone mispronounced it or when someone calls me with a name, I'm not used to. But, one thing I learned about my name is that, It's a place in India. Yah, I was like, "Rally?!" And I found out that It's a city of cannibals. Pretty weird, I guess but kinda interesting.

Out of all the disasters that happened this year, these are the ones we can laugh about, everybody makes mistakes but this photoshop disasters are made by people who make a lot of dollars and are not really suppose to make these kinds of mistakes, and that’s why it’s so fun to see them. 1. Wow, this one takes from Photoshop mistakes to a new level. Stuff magazine at all times features at least one beautiful model, actress, etc in each of their issues. How amazing this photo is? You can see here her one led but not other!!  Maybe a shark was swimming around and ate her other leg.

2. his photo is just little old but still pretty astonishing. The Mistake is clearly seen that the model’s panty is crack. Ohh!! The Crackless girl!!

3.  Photoshop can be a great program for controlling a picture but this one is really going incorrectly. You can seen in this pictures with one extra hand !! I think, We always need an extra hand.

4. At least they can share their nail enamel.

5.  Wow what a leg!! In this photo a girl shows her very long leg!! You have believed it ? Or not? A 9.8 feet long leg girl!

6.  Oh my god!! You can see here one extra plate which has no support. Scary floating plate, who is handling it? Nobody!!

8. High School Musical 2: Designer Still In Grade School. You can see two hands are mix in this photo.  Either there is lot more impale going on in this movie than I had previously understood, or someone, possibly someone with a hat, has been comped into this scene at the last minute.

9. This photo shows lost weight model. And I think her diet was so effective that she lost pounds and a leg. But I think her leg is still fat as previous. Seems like leg chopping is common nowadays.

It's been 2 years since I left Adamson grounds but I'm still a fan of the basketball team since 2006, during Ken Bono's leadership where Falcons made it to the Final Four outshining FEU Tams. I must say history repeats itself as yesterday, August 12,2010, AdU made FEU shut their mouths off. Though I wasn't able to catch the game yesterday, but according to some Twitter friends, AdU won through Eric Camson's leadership styles. And that keeps the spirit alive about AdU on Final Two. What's weird, is that It's been couple of years since AdU made it to Finals. ( I guess, during Marlou Aquino's time.) I was then 2 or 3 years old. Well, I have this strong belief that AdU will get its 1st championship in Basketball category. Here's a brief history on how The Falcons stand in UAAP for the last 20 years.

Obviously, they're at the bottom of the UAAP cards on basketball. But this year, It's changed. 

Now tell me, what's their secret? I don't know though but I guess this man has it.

Typically, one of the Filipino favorites is Taho. Well, It's my personal favorite. I just love the taste of it and how it refreshes me. My mornings would not be complete without it. I must say, I'm a fan of this popular street food. And I love how the "Manong Magtataho" calls the attention of everybody to buy one.

I was on the bus and on my way to school. And along Balintawak, I saw this Billboard by HerBench. Well, I must say, Bench never go wrong picking models for their clothing line. The hotties and the cuties. Wow! Name them, they're wearing Bench. But who gets my attention was MELAY. Whoa! She's now a Bench endorser. That's pretty funny but with the mass appeal she has, I guess Bench never go wrong picking her. While looking at their billboard, I just can't help but sing "Alin, Alin, Alin ang naiba? Isipin kung alin ang naiba." Simply because, she's with Sam Pinto, Shaina Magdayao, Georgina Wilson, Carla Abellana, and Karylle. All certified hotties. Well, I'm not insulting Melay but she's lucky to be there with these hotties. Way to go, Melay!

Just this morning, I had a great breakfast in Jolibee after like months. (Prolly, like 2 months) Surprised and a bit happy. Well, I can't deny why Jolibee's the leading fast food chain in the Philippines. Customer service, nice facilities, great food and all that stuff. But what gave me a great start is this mascot, that I thought was just standing on the entrance of the store. I was really shocked when it moved suddenly. That was really hilarious and with that anxious reaction this morning, I just can't help but laugh and get a picture of this mascot. Thanks Jolibee! You started my day with a laughtrip thingy.

TOP TEN REASONS WHY NO ONE IS READING YOUR BLOG

1) It’s boring

It could be that you’re not saying anything new.
It could be that you have nothing to say except self-promotional rubbish.
It could be that your writing style doesn’t appeal to the visitors..

It could be that you keep repeating the same sentence over and over again. (Oops.)

2) Terrible web design

We’re all aware that publishing platforms like WordPress offer thousands of free blog templates but that doesn’t mean you need to use them. Try a little customization.

If you can’t do it then hire someone or get a friend to tweak a few design elements. You don’t have to do anything extensive but a few changes to your design will go a long way. Great logos for your blog can be had for under $100 too.

3) You have no friends

Just like in grade school, you need to make some friends in order to be popular and well liked within your community. We’re not talking Facebook friends here (although they would help somewhat).

Having a hugely successful blog requires you to establish and maintain a lot of mutually beneficial relationships with important people in your niche. You need friends in high places and you need people to sing your praises. You can gain those friends and followers by posting great content, doing interviews with these people, connecting with others in forums and on other blogs, and by trading guest posts.

4) You’ve only been writing for 3 days

Some of the most popular bloggers today have been writing for years. Many of them started writing with no visitors in sight but they kept going through the tough patches. There may be a handful of popular bloggers that don’t spend an incredible amount of time working to improve their blog on a day-to-day basis but those people are rare.

5) Your news site doesn’t break news

People head to the Huffington Post, Perez Hilton, and Tech Crunch because they break stories. If you want to start a blog with news about your topic make sure that you’re the first one to break the news; otherwise your readers will go somewhere else. Commenting on newsworthy topics after the fact is fine but don’t sell your site as a news site if you’re not the first one to the story.

6) You picked a bad niche

Picking a topic to write about is tough. For most bloggers this can be the toughest part of getting a blog started. You don’t want to pick something too broad or competitive but you also want to make sure there is enough interest in your topic to make it worth your time writing about it every day.

The best thing you can do is write about something you love. Start there and then try to pick a sub-niche within that topic that is moderately competitive.

7) The search engines don’t like you

The search engines like links but don’t go worrying your self too much with that. Start by creating great content and telling people about it. That’s the hardest part of the battle.

Learning search engine marketing strategies can help you get found by the search engines but that should be a secondary goal to creating killer content.

 Your competition is too tough

This doesn’t mean you should give up on your idea of starting a tech, money making or celebrity blog. You can still do well blogging about popular topics but you should pick an angle or sub niche of that topic that isn’t being covered yet or is being covered poorly by someone else. Be known for being different.

9) You are inconsistent

If you’re already well known for something then you can likely get away with posting less often. Otherwise you’re going to have to get down to work and publish something every day or two. The more you post, the more likely people are to come back. If they come back to your blog a few times and there isn’t anything new then they wont keep coming back for long.

10) You’re not creating a conversation, you’re just talking

A blog should be a conversation. Whenever most people see a blog post or a video on Youtube they look to see how many comments are down below. This is because we want to know what other people have to say about a particular post or video. We’ve come to your blog to be part of something so make it easy for us to get involved.
